Onam – The city is in festival mood

Onam week celebrations have come to an end. This year's Onam people were full of enthusiasm as celebrations were restricted for two years due to covid. The country and the city were in a state of excitement. The Kerala Tourism Department has also organized elaborate celebrations this year. The entire city of Thiruvananthapuram was illuminated with colorful lights. Everywhere you could see people walking and enjoying the beauty of the city till night. textile shops and shops selling household goods were very busy. All the leading brands were giving a lot of offers. This year's Onam celebrations made sense of the old saying, "One must have the Onam lunch even by selling one's property, if need be".
