The Kerala Tourism Department submitted the water wave floating platform to Kerala on January 26 2021. The gallery and floating stage built by the Kerala Tourism Department at a cost of Rs. 78 lakhs.
The famous poet and writer Shri. Ezhacheri Ramachandran suggested the name Jalatharangam for the floating platform.
In collaboration with Bharat Bhavan, the Department of Tourism plans to hold regular events at the Jalatharangam Venue on Saturdays and Sundays on weekends.
The main attraction of the inauguration day was the Bharatanatyam performance by the famous dancer Smt.Rajasree Warrier.
May the water wave be the venue for more exciting events in the coming days.
